I provide you with comprehensive Digital Asset Management and Workflow Automation services in Apple-based broadcast and postproduction environments.

Technically, this includes the design and implementation of storage systems, user and permission management strategies, network services like DNS, Active Directory and Open Directory, as well as Digital Asset Management systems and backup / archiving solutions (e.g. Use Xsan 2.2.x’s Filesystem Events and Archiware PresSTORE 4.x to Protect Large Volumes and Connecting Final Cut Server To Archiware PresSTORE – new tool and documentation).

Though these systems tend to be technically complex, the goal is always to provide you with the most intuitive user experience and the most efficient workflows to streamline your workflows without interrupting them.

My tasks in this scenario typically include consulting, setup, trainings, system documentation and auditing, as well as product management and software development.

Most of my recent projects deal with Xsan, StorNext, Archiware PresSTORE, Final Cut Server, and directory services in broadcast and postproduction environments.

One of my specialties is building the interfaces between Final Cut Server and other MAMs to exchange data (e.g. Final Cut Server: How to import metadata from external MAMs).
