At the MacEXPO 2005 in Cologne we built up a Video & Server Pro Lab to demonstrate a real-world video workflow based on Xsan and Apple’s Final Cut Studio.
Our setup delivered 220/250 MB/s write and read performance. This is how the network looked like:

In addition the Xsan metadata controller failover server hosted three web and mail domains using the PHP/MySQL based CMS WordPress and Blojsom, and offered additional services like NetBoot/NetRestore, DNS, DHCP, Software Update and file services.
