Presentation in Berlin: Mac OS X Server 10.6 as communication platform for Mac, Windows, Linux, and iPhone

On Tuesday, March 2nd 2010, I am going to present Mac OS X Server 10.6 as the central communication platform for Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, and iPhone.

I will follow the setup guide described in my new book published by O’Reilly (in german). Everything will be done using a live demo system.

My new Mac OS X Server 10.6 book has just been published by O’Reilly.

It’s available in german and explains you how to set up your own mail, calendar, addressbook, and webserver based on Mac OS X Server 10.6 within no time.

You find more details about it at O’Reilly. The focus of the book is to use Mac OS X Server as the communication central for your Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, and iPhone users.

Started working on Mac OS X Server book for O’Reilly

I just started working on a Mac OS X Server book for O’Reilly (in german).
For that reason I am going to be back for consultancy jobs in early December.

I will answer my emails before that, though…

My new book “Mac OS X Server 10.5 als Groupware-Server” has been published by O’Reilly

O’Reilly just published my new book “Mac OS X Server 10.5 als Groupware-Server” in its TecFeed series.

This means it’s available as a PDF file and as a printed book.

The text is the same in both works, yet, due to different layouts the PDF file is about 100 pages, the book about 150 pages.

The book runs you through the installation of Mac OS X Server and the configuration of its groupware services like mail services, iCal services, and the new wiki service.

I tried to focus on the most necessary information to keep the book short and help you getting your server up and running in no time.

I hope you like it and find it useful.
